Saleshandy vs Smartlead | Same Price, Different Product
On this page
Put the two pricing pages side by side and you could be forgiven for thinking this is a coin toss. Starter at $41 against a base plan at $39. A middle tier at $99 against one at $94. Flat billing on both, unlimited sending accounts on both, warmup included on both.
Saleshandy vs Smartlead looks like the same product at the same price until you ask one question. Where do your leads come from?
Answer that and the comparison resolves in about ten seconds, because one of these tools includes a B2B database and the other assumes you already solved that problem somewhere else.

The question that actually separates them
Where do your leads come from?
If the answer is Apollo, Clay, a purchased list or a researcher on your team, Smartlead's lack of a database costs you nothing. You solved that problem already, and paying Saleshandy for credits you will not spend is money you could put into mailboxes instead.
If the answer is closer to "I was hoping the tool would handle that", the two are not comparable on price at all. Buying Smartlead plus a data subscription puts you well past Saleshandy's number before you have sent anything, because the cheapest credible B2B data plans start around $49 a month on their own.
That is genuinely most of the decision. Almost everything below refines it.
What each plan costs per thousand emails
Flat pricing invites you to compare two numbers. The more honest comparison divides each number by what the plan actually lets you send.

Saleshandy has three plans and Smartlead has four, so its Scale tier is compared against both Smartlead upper plans. Lower is better.
At the entry tier the two are effectively identical, $6.83 per thousand against $6.50, and both are expensive per send because 6,000 emails is a test volume rather than a programme.
At the tier most teams buy, Saleshandy edges it. $99 for 100,000 emails is $0.99 per thousand against Smartlead's $94 for 90,000, which is $1.04. A 5% difference is not a reason to choose either one.
The interesting number is at the top. Smartlead Unlimited Prime at $379 for 500,000 emails is $0.76 per thousand, the cheapest send on either price list, and it is the only plan either vendor sells above 200,000 emails a month. If you are sending at that volume, Smartlead is the only one of the two still in the conversation.
Deliverability, where Smartlead earns its reputation
This is the strongest argument for Smartlead and it does not show up on a feature table.
Smartlead has a reputation among high-volume senders that Saleshandy has not matched, built on tiered warmup that improves with the plan, mature inbox rotation, and the option of SmartServers at $39 a month each, which give a campaign dedicated sending infrastructure rather than shared. For an agency running many clients through one platform, that isolation is worth real money, because one client's bad list stops being everyone's problem.
Smartlead also sells SmartDelivery, its inbox placement testing suite, from $49 a month. Saleshandy has no equivalent product.
Saleshandy's answer is that the basics are free and included. Warmup on every plan at no cost, sender rotation across unlimited mailboxes, and cheap mailbox provisioning at $2.99 to $3.99 each a month with DNS configured automatically.

Saleshandy's pricing page, captured 28 September 2026. Unlimited email accounts on all three plans, and the emails-per-month ceiling one row below.
Which approach is better depends entirely on volume. Under about 100,000 emails a month, Saleshandy's included basics are enough and Smartlead's extras are a solution to a problem you do not have. Above it, the isolation SmartServers provide starts to matter, and $39 a month is cheap next to a burned domain.
Neither does ESP matching, where sends are routed and timed based on whether the recipient sits on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Neither publishes blacklist monitoring that pauses a campaign automatically when a sending domain gets listed.
Lead data, the line that splits them
Saleshandy publishes 852M+ contacts and 42M+ companies, and grants credits monthly rather than selling them as a pack. One credit reveals a verified email. Starter carries 1,500 a month, Pro 4,000 and Scale 8,000.
Take the Pro numbers and that is roughly 2.5 cents per revealed contact, included in a bill you were already paying. Dedicated data vendors go deeper on filters, intent signals and phone numbers, and they charge accordingly.
Smartlead includes none of this and does not pretend to. Its pricing page rows are contacts, emails, warmup and infrastructure. Bringing your own list is the assumption the product is built on.
Treat the 852M figure as a ceiling rather than a promise, because record counts across B2B data vendors are self-reported and nobody audits them. The useful test is the same for every vendor in this category. Pull fifty contacts in your actual segment during the trial and check what percentage bounce.
Agencies, white-label and the per-client charge
For agencies the two models diverge sharply, and the difference is not in the base price.
Smartlead charges $29 a month per client workspace for white-label. Ten clients is $290 a month on top of your plan, which is more than the plan itself on three of its four tiers. Its Unlimited Prime plan at $379 includes three or more client workspaces, which softens it at the top but not below.
Saleshandy includes white-label on Scale at $189 a month with no per-client charge, so the tenth client costs the same as the first, which is nothing.
Run your own client count through both. At three clients Smartlead's model is cheaper. Somewhere around five or six, depending on the plan, it stops being cheaper and never recovers.

What each vendor sells separately once you are running. Both base plans are cheap. The second invoice is where they differ.
Where Saleshandy and Smartlead both fall short
Both are email-only in practice. Smartlead says so plainly. Saleshandy shows four channels and automates one. If LinkedIn, calls or WhatsApp belong in your sequence, neither tool is a complete answer and you will end up paying a second vendor.
Both cap sending on every plan. Read the emails-per-month row before the contacts row, because that is the one that stops your campaign mid-month.
Neither does ESP matching or automatic blacklist pausing. Warmup and rotation are the first layer. Routing by mailbox provider and pulling a campaign when a domain gets listed is the second, and both stop short.
Smartlead does not publish a user count. For a solo operator that is irrelevant. For a team of six it is a question you have to ask sales before you can compare the two price cards honestly, which is a strange gap on an otherwise transparent pricing page.
Which one should you buy
You need leads as well as sending
Saleshandy. Prospecting and sending on one bill at $99 for Pro, with 4,000 credits a month. Buying Smartlead plus a data tool costs more and gives you two vendors to manage.
You send above 200,000 emails a month
Smartlead Unlimited Prime at $379. It is the only plan either vendor publishes above 200,000, and at $0.76 per thousand it is the cheapest send on either list.
You run an agency with many clients
Count your clients first. Under five, Smartlead's $29 per workspace is fine. Above that, Saleshandy Scale at $189 with white-label included wins and keeps winning.
Deliverability is the thing keeping you up
Smartlead, for SmartServers at $39 each and SmartDelivery from $49. Neither tool does ESP matching, so if that is the layer you want, look past both.
Switching between them
Both are flat-rate tools with unlimited sending accounts, which makes this one of the easier migrations in the category. Sequence copy is rebuilt by hand, prospects move as a CSV, and mailbox connections are re-authorised one at a time.
One rule matters more than the rest. Never point both platforms at the same mailbox at the same time. Two tools sending through one inbox produces a pattern that looks automated to mailbox providers, which is precisely the signal warmup exists to avoid. Move mailboxes in batches, finish each batch before starting the next, and keep the daily rate near 40 per inbox while it settles.
If the honest answer is that you want the data and the channels, neither of these covers it alone. The Saleshandy alternatives roundup compares ten tools that approach it differently, the Saleshandy review goes through its tiers in full, and there are head-to-heads against Mailshake and Lusha.
Which is cheaper, Saleshandy or Smartlead?
Smartlead at the entry tier, $39 a month against $41, and Saleshandy above it. Saleshandy Pro is $99 for 100,000 emails where Smartlead Pro is $94 for 90,000, so the cost per send favours Saleshandy. SmartReach.io Email Outreach Plus is $89 a month for 50,000 active prospects with no monthly send ceiling at all.
Which of Saleshandy and Smartlead gives you prospect data?
Saleshandy. It bundles Lead Finder credits into every plan, at 1,500 a month on Starter, 4,000 on Pro and 8,000 on Scale, drawn from a published 852M+ contacts. Smartlead expects you to bring leads from Apollo, Clay or a list. SmartReach.io includes lead finder credits monthly across 300M+ contacts and 50M+ companies.
Which has better deliverability, Saleshandy or Smartlead?
Smartlead has the stronger reputation at high volume, with tiered warmup and optional dedicated SmartServers at $39 each per month. Saleshandy ships free warmup and sender rotation on every plan. Neither can promise inbox placement. SmartReach.io adds ESP matching and blacklist monitoring that auto-pauses a campaign when sender reputation slips.
Do Saleshandy and Smartlead limit how many emails you can send?
Yes, both, on every plan they sell. Saleshandy allows 6,000, 100,000 and 200,000 emails a month. Smartlead allows 6,000, 90,000, 150,000 and 500,000. Smartlead's top tier is the only plan either sells above 200,000. SmartReach.io meters only its $29 Basic plan at 10,000 emails and removes the ceiling on every plan above it.
Which is better for an agency, Saleshandy or Smartlead?
It depends on how you bill clients. Smartlead charges $29 a month per client workspace for white-label, which scales with your client count, and sells dedicated SmartServers at $39 each. Saleshandy includes white-label on Scale at $189 with no per-client fee. SmartReach.io includes client dashboards from its $89 Email Outreach Plus plan.
Does Smartlead do LinkedIn or calling?
No. Smartlead is an email sending engine and does not market itself as anything else, which is a fair position rather than a gap. Saleshandy shows four channels but automates only email steps. SmartReach.io runs email, LinkedIn, calls and WhatsApp, automating the LinkedIn steps inside the same conditional sequence for $29 a month per account.
How many users do Saleshandy and Smartlead include?
Saleshandy publishes 1 user on Starter, 10 on Pro and unlimited on Scale. Smartlead does not publish a user count on its pricing page at all, which is a question to settle with sales before you buy for a team. SmartReach.io includes unlimited users on every plan above Basic, starting at $89 a month.
Can I run both Saleshandy and Smartlead at once?
You can, and during a two-week migration you probably should, but never point both at the same mailboxes. Two platforms sending through one inbox produces send patterns that look automated to mailbox providers. SmartReach.io recommends about 40 emails a day per inbox across 5 to 7 mailboxes per domain while a mailbox settles.
