How it started
In 2016, Prateek Bhatt and Akhilesh Betanamudi took on their first client, who asked them to build a tool for sending cold emails. That tool became SmartReach.io.
At the time, the only real options for outbound were expensive enterprise platforms. Agencies and smaller teams kept asking Prateek and Akhilesh to build them something similar but accessible, so in 2017 SmartReach.io launched as SaaS that anyone could use. Cold email was the core, and it still runs deep in everything we build.
How we grew
It started with one client.
