Free tools for cold email
Tools for the things that decide whether your email arrives. Check the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records on any domain, find the exact fault, and build the record that fixes it. Every tool is free and ungated: no signup, no email address, no limit.
In short
- SmartReach.io publishes a set of free tools for people who send cold email. All of them are ungated: no signup, no email address, and no limit on the number of checks.
- Five tools are live, all covering email authentication. An email authentication checker reads SPF, DKIM and DMARC on a domain in one pass and reports which of the three are missing, broken or not enforcing.
- A dedicated SPF checker follows the entire include tree and counts it against the ten-lookup limit of RFC 7208. A DKIM checker validates the public key against RFC 6376 and reports revoked keys, testing mode and CNAME delegation. A DMARC checker reports the policy receivers actually apply, follows subdomain inheritance, and tests that the reporting addresses are authorised to receive anything.
- An SPF record generator builds a valid record from the services that send mail for a domain, resolving each provider's own record so the ten-lookup budget is counted against live DNS while the record is being built rather than after it is published.
- Each tool validates against the specification that defines the record rather than matching a pattern, and names the exact fault instead of returning a score out of ten.
- The domains entered into these tools are never sent to analytics and are not stored. The lookups read public DNS records that any receiving mail server can query.
No email wall
No signup, no address, no "unlock your result". Every tool answers in full on the first run, and there is no limit on how many times you run it.
Checked against the spec
Each tool validates against the RFC that defines the record, not a pattern that looks about right, and links the section it applied so you can check our working.
The exact fault, not a score
A number out of ten tells you nothing you can act on. These name the record, the line and the fix, and say plainly when DNS cannot answer the question.

SPF pass · DKIM pass · DMARC p=reject
Email authentication
Email Authentication Checker
Check SPF, DKIM and DMARC on any domain at once. See which of the three are missing, which are broken, and which are published but not actually enforcing anything.
Check all three records - What it reads
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all
Email authentication
SPF Checker
SPF lists the servers allowed to send mail for your domain. Check that yours is published, resolves, and stays under the ten-lookup limit that silently breaks it.
Check my SPF record - What it reads
v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=MIIBIjANBgkq…
Email authentication
DKIM Checker
DKIM signs every message with a key only you hold. Check that the public key is published, parses, is not revoked, and is long enough to be trusted.
Check my DKIM record - What it reads
v=DMARC1; p=reject; pct=100
Email authentication
DMARC Checker
DMARC tells receivers whether to quarantine or reject mail that fails SPF and DKIM, and where to send the reports. Check your policy, alignment and reporting address.
Check my DMARC record - What it builds
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com include:amazonses.com ~all
Record generators
SPF Record Generator
Pick the services that send mail for you and get a single valid SPF record back, with the ten-lookup budget counted live from real DNS as you add each one.
Build my SPF record - What it builds
v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@example.com
Record generators
DMARC Record Generator
Build the record that tells receivers what to do with mail failing SPF and DKIM, and check, live, that the reports it asks for will actually reach you.
Build my DMARC record - What it builds
v=DKIM1; k=rsa; h=sha256; p=MIIBIjANBgkq…
Record generators
DKIM Record Generator
Generate a DKIM key pair in your browser and get the record to publish. It asks who signs your mail first, because most platforms make the key themselves and will not accept one you built.

Open Rate Calculator
Work out open, delivery, reply, click and click-to-open rates from your campaign figures, each with a confidence interval, and see why the open rate is the one you should not benchmark.

CTOR Calculator
Work out click-to-open rate, the share of people who opened and then clicked, and see why an inflated open count pushes it in the opposite direction to the open rate.

DNS Record Checker
Read every DNS record on a domain at once, with the mail records checked against six independent resolvers, and find the faults that only exist in the combination: a CNAME voiding the MX beside it, a mail host with no address, two SPF records cancelling out.

Email Blacklist Checker
Check a domain and the addresses behind it against the blocklists mail servers query before accepting a message, with the operator’s own removal link on every listing and every list we could not reach named rather than counted as a pass.

Spam Complaint Rate Calculator
Work out the share of delivered messages recipients reported as spam, against the 0.30% Google requires and the 0.10% it recommends, and find out whether the campaign was even large enough to express a rate under either.

About these tools
Stop fixing deliverability one DNS record at a time.
SmartReach buys and authenticates your sending domains and mailboxes with SPF, DKIM and DMARC already in place, then warms them, rotates them, and verifies every address before you send.
