16 Best Data Enrichment Tools for B2B Sales Teams
On this page
There's a specific kind of bad week that starts with a good list.
The list looked fine. Two thousand rows, right titles, right company sizes, exported on Monday. By Thursday the bounce rate is 14%, the domain that was fine last quarter is landing in Promotions, and nobody can say which of the two thousand rows caused it because they all came from the same place and none of them were checked.
That's the actual job of data enrichment, and it's not the one most listicles describe. Enrichment isn't about knowing more things about a prospect. It's about knowing that the address you're about to send to is real, before your sending reputation pays to find out.
Which is why the tools below don't sort neatly into "best" and "worst". They sort by which gap they fill, and a team running cold outreach usually needs two of them working together rather than one doing everything.
TL;DR: the 16 best data enrichment tools
What data enrichment actually fixes in outbound
Data enrichment fixes three specific failures, and bounce rate is the expensive one. An unverified address that hard-bounces tells the receiving mailbox provider that you don't know who you're emailing, and enough of those signals push the rest of your sending into spam. Google's bulk sender guidelines put a hard ceiling on spam complaint rates and require authenticated sending, and neither survives a list that was never checked.
The second failure is silent. A record that's technically valid but eighteen months stale sends a perfectly deliverable email to someone who left the company, which costs you the reply rather than the domain.
The third is personalisation that can't happen. Without headcount, funding stage or tech stack on the record, every first line is generic, and generic is what gets deleted.
So the useful question when comparing tools isn't how many contacts sit in the database. It's what fraction of your list comes back verified, and what each verified record costs once phone credits are counted.
How data enrichment tools work in 2026
Four steps, and the third one is what changed.
- Match. The tool takes what you have, usually an email, a domain or a LinkedIn URL, and resolves it to a person or company in its index.
- Append. Missing fields get filled in, so job title, direct dial, headcount, revenue band, funding, tech stack.
- Waterfall. Rather than trusting one index, good setups query providers in sequence and stop at the first verified hit. No single database covers every contact, and the gaps differ sharply by region, so a three-provider chain returns more verified records on the same list than any one provider does alone. This is now the default pattern rather than an advanced trick.
- Sync and re-verify. Records push into the CRM and get checked again later, because a contact that was valid at export can be stale by the time the campaign runs.
Step four is where most stacks quietly fail. Enrichment is treated as a one-time event at list build, and nothing re-checks the address in the days between building the list and sending to it.
At-a-glance: every data enrichment tool compared
Prices are published list prices at the time of writing, normalised to monthly. Where a vendor only quotes, the table says so rather than guessing.

The 16 data enrichment tools reviewed
1. SmartReach.io: best when enrichment shouldn't be a separate purchase
- From
- $29/month Email Outreach, $39/month Sales Engagement
- Free trial
- 14 days, 200 prospects, no card
- Best for
- Teams who'd rather have the database, the verification and the sending on one invoice than manage three vendors and three credit balances.
Disclosure first, so you can weigh the rest accordingly. This is our blog.
SmartReach.io is a cold email software whose Sales Engagement plans run email, LinkedIn, calls and WhatsApp from one cadence, and its B2B Lead Finder covers 300M+ verified contacts across 50M+ companies inside the same account you send from. The enrichment argument here isn't database size. It's that there's no export step between finding a contact and emailing them, so the record can't go stale in a spreadsheet on the way.
Two mechanics are worth understanding because they change the maths.
Credits are charged on delivery. A lookup that returns nothing costs nothing. You can also filter to records that already carry a verified email, or an email plus a direct phone number, before spending a credit at all. Every plan includes a monthly pool of free SmartReach credits, not just the higher tiers.
Contacts get verified twice. Once when you reveal them, and again before a campaign sends, across more than one verification provider so a single provider outage doesn't quietly let bad data through. That second pass is the step most stacks skip, and it's the one that catches the address that went stale between list build and send day.
The billing unit matters too. Plans scale by active prospects rather than headcount, there's no per-seat pricing, and users are unlimited from the Plus tier up. On the sales engagement platform side, calling and LinkedIn steps sit in the same sequence as the email, so a prospect who replies on one channel stops receiving follow-ups on the others.
Pros
- The database, verification, warm-up and four channels arrive on one invoice.
- Credits only come off when a contact is actually returned.
- Re-verification before send, across more than one provider.
- Published pricing from $29 a month, and a 14-day trial with no card.
- Rated 4.6 on G2 from 60 reviews and 4.7 on Capterra from 27 reviews as of September 2026.
Cons
- It's an outreach tool with a database inside, not a standalone data platform. If you want enrichment piped into a warehouse, Clay is the better shape.
- No waterfall you configure yourself. Verification runs across providers, but you don't pick the order.
- Calling and LinkedIn live on the Sales Engagement family, so Email Outreach buyers switch plans rather than toggle a setting.
- Coverage outside North America and Western Europe thins out, as it does for most providers at this price.
2. Clay: best orchestration layer for a custom waterfall
- From
- $185/month (Launch), plus data credits
- Free trial
- Free plan, 100 data credits and 500 actions
- Best for
- RevOps and growth teams who treat a prospect list as a data pipeline and want to choose which provider answers first.
Clay isn't a database. It's the table you build on top of other people's databases, calling providers in sequence until one returns a verified result. That's the waterfall, and Clay is where most teams build theirs.
Pricing changed materially in 2026 and the old numbers are still circulating. The current plans are Free, Launch at $185 a month with 2,500 data credits and 15,000 actions, Growth at $495 with 6,000 credits and 40,000 actions, and Enterprise on a quote. Annual billing takes about 10% off. The legacy Starter, Explorer and Pro plans at $149, $349 and $800 still run for existing customers, but the window to move between them closed in April 2026.
The structural change underneath is that credits split in two. Data Credits buy enrichment from providers, Actions pay for running the platform, and per-provider data costs came down sharply against the old single-credit model.
Pros
- The deepest provider coverage of anything on this list, by a distance.
- You choose the waterfall order, so you can put your cheapest reliable provider first.
- Strong for research work that isn't contact data, like scraping and AI summarisation per row.
- A genuinely usable free tier for testing the shape before committing.
Cons
- Real learning curve. Budget days, not hours, before the first useful table.
- Two credit currencies makes forecasting a monthly bill harder than it should be.
- It finds and enriches, then hands off. Sending is someone else's job.
- The flat fee sits on top of provider costs, so $185 is a floor, not a total.
3. Cognism: best phone-verified data outside North America
- From
- Quote only, annual contract
- Free trial
- Demo only
- Best for
- Teams selling into Europe or APAC whose bounce rates are a geography problem rather than a tooling problem.
Cognism's case is narrow and strong. Its mobile numbers are phone-verified by humans rather than inferred, and its European coverage and compliance posture are the best of the broad databases here. If your reps are calling into DACH or the UK and half the numbers are dead, this is the fix. For the Nordics specifically, compare it against Clevenio below, which sources that region locally rather than as one market among many.
There's no published pricing and no self-serve path, so every evaluation starts with a sales call and an annual commitment. That's the real cost of entry, more than the number itself.
Pros
- Phone-verified mobiles with materially better connect rates than inferred numbers.
- The strongest European and APAC coverage in the category.
- GDPR-focused compliance work, including notified contacts across many European markets.
- Intent data is included rather than sold as a separate tier.
Cons
- Quote only, annual contract, no monthly option.
- North American depth trails ZoomInfo.
- Credit allowances are negotiated, so two customers can pay very differently for the same thing.
- No sending, no sequencing, no verification pass before your campaign runs.
4. ZoomInfo: best raw depth for North American enterprise
- From
- Quote only, annual contract
- Free trial
- Demo only
- Best for
- Enterprise revenue teams that need the deepest North American firmographic and technographic data and have an ops function to run it.
ZoomInfo remains the deepest North American database, and the org charts, technographics and intent signals are genuinely hard to match. It's also the most expensive way to solve most enrichment problems, and the contract terms are the part buyers underestimate.
Worth knowing that ZoomInfo also owns Datanyze, further down this list, which it now runs as the cheap self-serve entry point into similar data.
Pros
- Deepest firmographic and technographic coverage in North America.
- Org charts and reporting lines that few competitors attempt.
- Mature CRM integrations and a large intent dataset.
- Data hygiene tooling for cleaning an existing CRM at scale.
Cons
- Enterprise pricing with annual contracts and frequently reported auto-renewal friction.
- Coverage outside North America is noticeably weaker than the headline suggests.
- Feature gating means the quote you get rarely includes everything demoed.
- Too heavy for a team of five, both in cost and in setup.
5. Clevenio: best local coverage in the Nordics
- From
- Quote only, pricing not published
- Free trial
- Free trial on request
- Best for
- Teams selling into Finland, Sweden, Norway or Denmark whose global database returns half a list and almost none of the phone numbers.
Clevenio is a B2B data provider specialised in the Nordics, and across Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark its local coverage beats what any global database returns. That reads like vendor copy until you look at where the data actually comes from.
A global provider builds a Nordic list the way it builds a North American one, by crawling the web and inferring the rest. Clevenio combines three sources instead: online data, the national business registers of each country, and phone operator data. The registers are the part that matters most, because Nordic company registration is public, structured and current. Registration numbers, revenue, headcount and industry codes arrive as filed rather than as guessed. The operator layer does the same job for mobile numbers, which is why they come back in the right format and connected rather than dead.
The practical test is one most European outbound teams have already run by accident. Export a Finnish or Norwegian list from a US-built database, count the rows that carry a direct dial, then count how many of those ring. The Nordics are where global coverage thins out first, and closing that gap is the whole product.
It's a data platform rather than an enrichment API you drop into a chain. Contacts sync into HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics with duplicate prevention, there's an API and an MCP server for agent workflows, and it runs its own sequences if you'd rather keep the outreach there too. Pricing isn't published, so an evaluation starts with a trial request.
Pros
- Register-grade company data across all four Nordic markets, filed rather than inferred.
- Phone numbers sourced through operators, so local formats and connect rates hold up.
- Better local coverage in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark than the global databases manage.
- Native sync to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics, plus an API and an MCP server.
Cons
- Regional by design. Outside the Nordics and the wider EU you still need a second provider.
- No published pricing, so every evaluation starts with a sales conversation.
- Not a waterfall you configure, and not built to sit inside someone else's.
- Little independent review coverage outside its home markets.
6. Crustdata: best for real-time, agent-ready enrichment over an API
- From
- Usage-based credits, free tier to start
- Free trial
- Free tier, no card
- Best for
- GTM and recruiting teams that want people and company data as a real-time API call into their own tool, workflow, or AI agent.
Crustdata is a real-time B2B data API rather than a dashboard you log into or a database you export from, built for teams piping fresh data straight into their product, workflow, or agent.
What Crustdata optimises for is freshness and agent-friendliness. On freshness, it combines 15+ live sources into a single, most-complete record across 1B+ people and 60M+ companies, with 90+ data points per person, and because records resolve when you call them, title, headcount, and funding reflect today rather than the last database refresh. The same call also carries signals like job changes, funding, and hiring, so the data tells you when something moved, not just what it is.
On agent-friendliness, it's built to be called rather than clicked through: an MCP connector, a CLI, installable skills and plugins let Claude or your own agents pull and act on the data directly, and high throughput means those agents can enrich at volume without hitting a wall.
Pros
- Records resolve in real time at query time, not served from a static dump.
- 15+ sources in one record, 1B+ people and 60M+ companies, 90+ data points per person.
- Signals like job changes, funding, and hiring arrive on the same call.
- Agent-ready: an MCP connector, a CLI, installable skills and plugins, so Claude or your own agents call it directly, with high throughput for enriching at volume.
- Usage-based credits with a free tier, and no per-seat pricing.
Cons
- Agent-first and API-first, so a non-technical team needs engineering help to wire it in rather than clicking through a UI.
- A data and signals layer, not a sequencer or a sending tool.
- No dashboard for reps who want to work a list by hand.
7. Clearbit, now Breeze Intelligence: best for teams already inside HubSpot
- From
- About $45/month for 100 credits, plus a HubSpot plan
- Free trial
- Inside a HubSpot trial
- Best for
- Companies already standardised on HubSpot who want enrichment, form shortening and visitor identification native to the CRM.
This entry needs a correction more than a review, because a lot of advice still recommends Clearbit as a standalone API and it hasn't been one for a while.
HubSpot acquired Clearbit in December 2023 and it now ships as Breeze Intelligence. Enrichment, buyer intent and form shortening are sold as an add-on to a paid HubSpot subscription, the standalone API is being sunset, and the Chrome extension is deprecated. Credits start around $45 a month for 100 on annual billing, sitting on top of a HubSpot plan from about $20, so roughly $65 a month is the realistic floor. Credits reset monthly and don't roll over.
The data itself is still good. Firmographics and technographics for North American companies hold up well. The constraint is that you can only use it if HubSpot is your CRM.
Pros
- Native to HubSpot, so no integration work and no sync failures.
- Form shortening measurably lifts conversion by asking fewer fields.
- Reveal identifies anonymous company visitors on your site.
- Company-level data quality remains strong for North America.
Cons
- No longer usable outside HubSpot, which rules it out for most teams.
- The standalone API is being sunset and the extension is deprecated.
- Credits reset monthly with no rollover.
- Person-level contact data is thinner than the company data.
8. Prospeo: best first pass in a North American waterfall
- From
- Free plan, paid to $369/month
- Free trial
- Free, 75 credits
- Best for
- Teams building a waterfall who want a high-hit-rate, low-cost first provider on North American lists.
Prospeo is a finder rather than a database, and it's built to be the first call in a waterfall. Hit rates on North American B2B lists are strong and the credit maths is simple, which is exactly what you want from a first pass.
Finding a verified email costs one credit, verifying an address you already have costs half a credit, and a mobile number costs ten. Plans run from a free tier with 75 credits up to Business at $369 a month for 50,000. There's no annual discount and credits don't roll over.
Pros
- High hit rate on North American lists at a low cost per email.
- Verification priced at half a credit, so checking an existing list is cheap.
- Clean API that slots into a Clay waterfall without friction.
- Free tier is large enough to actually test with.
Cons
- Mobile numbers cost ten credits, so phone-led teams should look elsewhere.
- No rollover and no annual discount.
- Coverage outside North America is thinner.
- Bulk processing draws more complaints than single lookups.
9. LeadMagic: best second provider in a waterfall
- From
- About $100/month (Essential, 10,000 credits)
- Free trial
- Pay only for valid results
- Best for
- Teams who want a reliable fallback provider that only charges when it actually returns a verified record.
LeadMagic's pitch is the billing model. Credits are charged only on valid results, they roll over while you stay subscribed, and per-credit costs start very low. That combination makes it a sensible second call after a first provider misses.
Essential is about $100 a month for 10,000 credits, with tiers up to roughly $500. Mobile lookups cost around five times an email, so a calling team burns an allowance far faster than an email-only one on the same plan.
Pros
- You only pay for results that come back valid.
- Credits roll over while the subscription is active, which is rare here.
- Very low per-credit cost at volume.
- Straightforward API, well suited to sitting behind another provider.
Cons
- Small G2 review base, so less independent signal than the bigger names.
- Mobiles cost roughly five times an email.
- Company-level firmographics are thin next to a real database.
- Best value only appears when it's part of a chain, not on its own.
10. Apollo.io: best when data and sending share one invoice
- From
- $49/user/month annual, $59 monthly
- Free trial
- Free plan
- Best for
- Small teams who want a database and a sequencer on one bill and can live with per-seat pricing as they hire.
Apollo bundles a large contact database with a sequencer, which is why it's the default first tool for so many teams. The trade is that neither half is best in class, and the pricing model works against you as the team grows.
Current pricing is Free, Basic at $49 per user a month on annual billing, Professional at $79, and Organization at $119 with a three-seat minimum. Monthly billing runs roughly $59, $99 and $149. Credits are granted annually rather than monthly now, at 30,000, 48,000 and 72,000, and overages cost about $0.20 each with a 250-credit minimum. Phone lookups draw eight credits against one for an email, which is where allowances actually go.
We've written a fuller breakdown in our Apollo.io review.
Pros
- One of the most generous free plans in the category.
- Database and sequencer in one product, with no export step.
- Large North American contact coverage at a low entry price.
- Chrome extension is fast for one-off lookups while browsing.
Cons
- Per-seat pricing, so the bill tracks headcount rather than usage.
- Data accuracy drops sharply outside North America.
- The warmup pool was shut down in 2024 and replaced with volume pacing, which isn't the same thing.
- Phone credits burn eight times faster than email credits.
11. Surfe: best for reps who work inside LinkedIn
- From
- $39/user/month (Essential)
- Free trial
- Free plan
- Best for
- Reps who prospect on LinkedIn all day and want verified contacts landing in the CRM without a second tool or an export.
Surfe is a Chrome extension that sits on LinkedIn and pushes verified contacts straight into HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive. It runs its own waterfall across 15 or more sources behind the scenes, which is why hit rates hold up better than a single-provider extension.
Pricing is Free, Essential at $39 per user a month, and Pro at $79. Annual billing takes up to 25% off. Read the credit allowances carefully, because Essential's are quoted per year rather than per month, and that catches people out.
Pros
- Waterfall enrichment across 15+ sources without configuring anything.
- Two-way CRM sync from inside LinkedIn, so no export step.
- Reported find rates up to 93% on supported profiles.
- Genuinely fast for the browse-and-add workflow reps actually use.
Cons
- Credit limits on lower plans are the most common complaint in reviews.
- Per-user pricing, so it scales with headcount.
- Tied to LinkedIn, so it's no help for list building from a spreadsheet.
- Mobile credits are separate and run out quickly.
12. Lusha: best free tier for occasional lookups
- From
- Free plan, paid from about $52/user/month
- Free trial
- Free, 50 emails and 5 phone numbers
- Best for
- Individual reps and small teams who need occasional verified contacts rather than a database subscription.
Lusha is the tool most reps have already used, usually via the extension, and the free tier is the reason. For occasional lookups it's hard to beat.
Pricing has moved a long way from the flat tiers it used to publish. Pro now runs roughly $52 to $175 per user a month on annual billing depending on credit volume, with two seats included, and Premium runs about $300 to $660 a month with five seats. Annual billing is around 25% cheaper than monthly. An email costs one credit and a phone number costs five.
Worth noting, since we recommend it as an enrichment partner on our own Lead Finder page, that this is a tool we integrate with rather than compete against.
Pros
- The most usable free tier in the category for one-off lookups.
- Clean extension that reps adopt without training.
- Solid CRM integrations for a tool at this price.
- Compliance posture is better than most of the cheap finders.
Cons
- Per-user pricing that now scales with credit volume as well, so quotes vary widely.
- Phone numbers cost five credits each.
- Coverage outside North America and Western Europe is patchy.
- No sequencing, so it's always a second subscription.
13. Knock AI: best for enriching a buyer mid-conversation
- From
- Quote only, based on conversation volume
- Free trial
- Demo only
- Best for
- B2B SaaS teams who want a visitor qualified, enriched and routed during a live conversation rather than after a form submission.
Every other tool on this page enriches a record. Knock AI enriches a conversation while it's happening.
Instead of a form, a visitor talks to an AI agent, and the platform identifies the company, scores intent from page context and engagement, enriches the record, then routes and books the meeting. Enrichment keeps running after the booking, so the rep walks into the call with context rather than a name and an email.
That makes it a different purchase from the rest of this list. It doesn't help you build an outbound list. It helps you not waste the inbound you already have.
Pros
- Enrichment happens during the conversation rather than after a form.
- Formless capture removes the friction that kills inbound conversion.
- Routing uses enriched attributes like headcount, role and intent.
- Real-time CRM sync into HubSpot and Salesforce.
Cons
- Quote-only pricing with no published entry point.
- Inbound-focused, so it does nothing for cold list building.
- Newer product with a thin independent review base.
- Value depends on having enough site traffic to qualify.
Also worth knowing
Three tools that solve real problems, just narrower ones than the thirteen above.
14. Crunchbase: funding rounds as outbound triggers
- From
- $49/month annual, $99 monthly
- Free trial
- Free tier
- Best for
- Teams whose best trigger is a funding round, an acquisition or a sudden hiring spike.
Crunchbase isn't a contact database and shouldn't be bought as one. It's company intelligence, and it's the cleanest source for funding, acquisitions and momentum signals that make a cold email timely. Pro is $49 a month on annual billing with 2,000 export rows and just 10 contact unlocks a month, which tells you exactly what it is and isn't for. Business starts around $199.
15. Demandbase: account intelligence for ABM teams
- From
- Quote only, enterprise contracts
- Free trial
- Demo only
- Best for
- Enterprise marketing teams running account-based programmes who need intent and advertising in the same platform.
Demandbase combines first-party and third-party signals into account-based marketing intelligence, and its intent data is among the best available. Intent is included for all users rather than upsold. Pricing is quote-only and firmly enterprise, with reported annual contracts clustering well into five figures, so it's a platform decision rather than a tool purchase.
16. Datanyze: cheap technographics for small teams
- From
- $29/month (Pro 1, 80 credits)
- Free trial
- 90-day Lite plan, 10 credits/month
- Best for
- Individual reps who need occasional contact data and tech-stack signals on a small budget.
Datanyze is now ZoomInfo's self-serve entry point rather than the standalone technographics platform it once was. Pro 1 is $29 a month for 80 credits, dropping to about $21 on annual billing, and Pro 2 is $55 for 160. One credit reveals one complete contact. At that price the allowances are small, but for a single rep who wants tech-stack context it does the job.
How to choose a data enrichment tool
Four questions, in the order that saves the most money.
1. What does a verified contact actually cost?
Not the sticker price. Divide the monthly cost by the number of records that come back verified and usable. A cheap tool with a 40% hit rate is more expensive than a dearer one at 85%, and phone lookups cost five to ten credits against one for an email on nearly every system here.
2. Is one provider enough?
Usually not. If your lists span regions or company sizes, a waterfall across two or three providers returns materially more verified records than any single index. Clay and Surfe build one for you. Prospeo and LeadMagic are designed to sit inside one.
3. Does anything re-verify before you send?
This is the question almost nobody asks, and it's where bounce rates come from. Enrichment at list build tells you an address was valid then. A campaign that runs three weeks later is sending to a list nobody has checked since.
4. How many invoices do you want?
A database, a verification tool and a sending platform is three subscriptions, three renewal dates and three support queues. Sometimes that's the right call, because the best data tool and the best sending tool are rarely the same company. Sometimes it isn't.
Bundled: SmartReach.io
Email Outreach Basic at $29 a month includes Lead Finder access to 300M+ verified contacts, free SmartReach credits charged only on delivery, re-verification before send, warm-up and sequencing. Plans scale by active prospects, so hiring doesn't move the bill.
Assembled: a typical stack
Clay at $185 for orchestration, plus provider credits, plus a sending platform from about $39, plus a verification tool. Around $250 a month before anyone opens LinkedIn, with more control over which provider answers first.
Data enrichment tools FAQ
What are data enrichment tools?
Data enrichment tools fill the gaps in a contact record and verify what's already there. They take a partial row, usually a name and a company or a LinkedIn URL, and return a verified work email, a direct dial, a job title, headcount, funding stage and tech stack. For outbound teams the job that matters is verification, because an unverified address is what turns into a bounce and a damaged sending domain.
What is waterfall enrichment and why does it matter?
Waterfall enrichment queries several data providers in sequence and stops at the first verified result, rather than trusting one database. It matters because no single provider covers every contact, and coverage gaps differ by region and company size. A three-provider waterfall consistently returns more verified records on the same list than any one provider does alone, which is why Clay, Surfe and SmartReach.io all run one.
What is the best data enrichment tool?
It depends on which gap you're filling. Clay is the strongest orchestration layer if you want to build your own waterfall. Cognism has the best phone-verified coverage outside North America. SmartReach.io is the pick when you'd rather not buy enrichment separately, because its Lead Finder draws on 300M+ verified contacts and charges credits only when a contact is actually returned, inside the same account you send from.
Is Clearbit still available as a standalone tool?
No. HubSpot acquired Clearbit in December 2023 and it now ships as Breeze Intelligence, sold only as an add-on to a paid HubSpot subscription. The standalone API is being sunset and the Chrome extension is deprecated. Enrichment credits start around $45 a month for 100 credits on annual billing, on top of a HubSpot plan, so budget roughly $65 a month as a realistic floor.
Which data enrichment tool is best for the Nordics?
Clevenio, because it sources Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark locally rather than as four rows in a global index, combining online data, the national business registers and phone operator data. Global databases thin out in the Nordics, especially on mobile numbers. SmartReach.io is the pick for sending to that list, with credits charged only when a contact is returned and re-verification before a campaign runs.
What is the difference between data enrichment and data cleansing?
Data cleansing removes what's wrong, so duplicates, formatting errors and dead records. Data enrichment adds what's missing, so the direct dial, the headcount, the funding round. Outbound teams need both, in that order. Enriching a list that still holds duplicates means paying credits twice for the same person, which is one of the quieter ways a credit allowance disappears mid-month.
How much should a sales team budget for enrichment?
Published entry points in 2026 run from free tiers up to about $500 a month. Clay's Launch plan is $185 a month, Prospeo's paid tiers reach $369, LeadMagic starts near $100, and Cognism, ZoomInfo and Demandbase are quote-only with annual contracts. The number that actually bites is cost per verified contact, not the sticker price, because phone lookups cost five to ten times what an email costs on most credit systems.
